Purpose and Private Status

Coos County Released Inmates is a private reference resource with no authority over the Coos County Jail, Oregon Department of Corrections, courts, Community Corrections, BOP, ICE, or another public office. It stores no official government records. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, submit a public-record request for a visitor, or file court documents.

The site points readers toward public jail and release resources in Coos County and Oregon. It may also connect visitors with independent research tools. Those links do not turn the site into the government office or outside provider.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the site only in a lawful manner that respects other people and the operation of the service. You agree that you will not:

• Use the site while violating any applicable law
• Use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten someone
• Base employment, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision on site content
• Attempt to enter accounts, servers, or systems without authorization

No Consumer Reports

Coos County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not supply background checks, consumer reports, or credit reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. You agree not to use information from this site or a linked tool for:

• Hiring, firing, or another employment decision
• Housing or tenant screening
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Independent Websites and Services

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections sites, court portals, release records, legal resources, federal locators, or private search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control the destination's content, privacy practices, data handling, availability, or prices. Review that service's own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The website, its content, and its links are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranty that the service will provide:

• Accurate, complete, or current information
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• Operation free of errors, bugs, or security weaknesses
• Complete or useful results from a partner search

Custody and public-record information can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Coos County Sheriff, Oregon DOC, a court, or any other government agency.

Oregon Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Oregon. Official Coos County record access remains subject to Oregon Public Records Law, principally ORS 192.311 through 192.478, and the terms set by the office that holds the record.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary. Every remaining provision will continue in effect.
